Ok, so I can be a bit of a clothing and beauty snob. This unfortunately isn’t one of those blogs where I would rave about the fact I made my own face pack using some cottage cheese and half a cucumber. I’m a sucker for pretty packaging and some magic ingredients that are going to change my life/make me 4 sizes thinner/miraculously happier. However, I do love a bargain, and believe the high street can be equally as good as some high end designer labels.
So, I nipped into Primark yesterday to have a quick peruse and pick up some basics. I found these two pairs of cute flat pumps and this very patriotic jumper, which will be keeping me warm with grey skinny jeans this weekend on the train up to London.
The jumper was only £12 and is just the right length. The gold pumps were a bargain price of, get this, £2. The have a kind of snakeskin type effect which catches the light and are actually pretty comfy (I’m wearing them today). The black pumps have tiny black crystals on them and to be honest, are pretty similar to ones I have seen in more expensive (than Primark) high street stores such as Topshop. These were £12.
Definitely good value for money and again really comfy – I will be wearing these to the office on the days I don’t wear heels. Oh, and if you are visiting a Primark store it’s worth checking out their luggage department – they do some great small and medium sized hard suitcases for a great price, with lots of different colours and designs to make you stand out at the luggage carousel!
